ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau (L,D)
Day 2: Mai Chau - Suoi Lon (B,L,D)

TOUR DETAIL

Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau (L,D)
7:30am you will be met up with The B Tourist  Travel team at your hotel in Hanoi (please advise your hotel name). Depart for Mai Chau. Enjoy some short treks on the way before we arrive in Mai Chau in the late afternoon. Check into a local stilt house for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Mai Chau - Suoi Lon (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to in an area of inhabitants of ethnic minority Thai, Muong - the villages of Cun Pheo and Hang Kia where you will begin the trek. Arrive Bai Sang wharf for the cruising on Black river by local boat. Arrive at Suoi Lon for overnight in Muong' Village.
Day 3: Suoi Lon - Bac Yen - Thu Cuc (B,L,D)

The B Tourist  Travel will transfer you to Ta Sua plateau where you can contemplate the highland scenery of it. Visit some villages of ethnic Black H'mong and discover the daily life and custom of local inhabitants here, especially you
can enjoy the  local specialties: Ta Sua Tea and agriculture products then come back the town for lunch.
After lunch, visit the local market, the handicraft and farming products made by local villagers. Then continue trekking for about 5 Kilometers through villages of the Thai and the Muong. During the hike you can take a rest and taste some local wine is distillated by the local villagers. Transfer to Thu cuc. Overnight in a Muong village.
Day 4: Thu Cuc - Nghia Lo (B,L,D)
Today along with The B Tourist  adventure tour guide, you will trek through Thai, Dao and H'mong villages. Visit the water wheel en route. It is used to scoop the water for the rice fields near the streams. Continue going to Nghia Lo through the direction of Lung Lo pass. Arrive at Nghia Lo,  check in hotel. If time permit, have a short walk to the local market. Walk back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Nghia Lo - Tu Le (B,L,D)
After breakfast, leave Nghia Lo. Trek and visit some villages of ethnic's minorities along the  road: black Dzao, H'mong, white Thai, etc. The The B Tourist  tour guide will explain more about the culture, custom and traditions of these ethnic groups. Arrive in Tu Le village, dinner and overnight in a house on stilt. You will have the opportunity to experience the culture of the local Thai people in the area.
Day 6: Tu Le - Mu Cang Chai - Than Uyen (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we say goodbye to our host and continue our journey driving to the village center. You may have the opportunity to visit the local market. Transfer to the foot of Kau Pha pass where we will start trekking for about 9 Km through the forest and ethnic villages. This trail runs parallel with the famous and beautiful Kau Pha pass. We finish the trail at the peak of the pass (1800m above sea level). Transfer to Mu Cang Chai for lunch. Visit the local market and go move on to Than Uyen. Arrive in Than Uyen about late afternoon. Check into a local guest house for overnight.
Day 7: Than Uyen - Binh Lu - Sapa (B,L)
Transfer to Sapa. We can have some more treks on the way to visit villages of ethnic minorties. Especially, you can meet the most typical ethics of the region - Lao,  Lu  (Xa  Pho).  They  wear  the  long  traditional  and colorful costumes with jeweler hand made.
Lunch will be provided in a local restaurant en route.
Arrive in Sapa. Check into a local hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or enjoy a short walk to discover the town. Sapa town has such highlights as the Ham Rong mountain, Sapa market, Dzao traditional spa…
Day 8: Visit Cao Son market. Overnight train back to Hanoi (B,L).
Transfer to Muong Khuong district, via  tea plantation and  forest of pine. You might encounter Giay tribe in their traditional dress in Ban Lau or Thanh Binh. Reaching Cao Son about 10.am, enjoy the excitement of this weekly market. The shining dress of colorful Hmong girls attracts you much as you fall  down to a new world, a world of interest and fun. Having lunch in Cao Son
lodge.
In the afternoon, commence your walk to  the most secluded yet  peaceful  village - Tin  Thang.  In  this  village, people still distill the wine from corn, making bacon in the most basic way and offering special corn cake to anyone who drop by their house. Transfer back to Laocai. Take the overnight train back to Hanoi. Train ??? Departure (to be advised by The B Tourist Vietnam). Overnight on board train.

Day 1: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong National Park. Trek from park center to a Muong village (L,D).

TOUR DETAIL

Cuc Phuong is the oldest national park in Vietnam. Cuc Phuong boasts engaging cultural and wildlife heritage and enchanting scenery. Magnificent limestone mountains rise up majestically from the green rice-terraces and traditional stilt houses of the Muong hill-tribe. Covered in a dense forest they form a habitat for some of Asia's rarest species. It is no wonder that researchers, naturalists, enthusiasts and conservationists alike are drawn to this corner of the world
.

Day 1: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong National Park. Trek from park center to a Muong village (L,D).
At 7:00 am, you will be picked up by The B Tourist local guide and driver and transferred then to Ninh Binh. We will arrive at Cuc Phuong National Park after about 2.5 hours (120 km) then we visit the Rescue Center where we will see and learn about the park’s biodiversity and variety of endangered species.

Our long trek (18km) begins here and takes us through the life and songs of the local rain forests. A picnic lunch is served on the way. After 5 hours of hiking, learning about fauna and flora, and picturesque sightseeing en route, we arrive at a village of the Muong minority people where we will spend the night.
Overnight in a stilt-house.

Day 2: Transfer to Tam Coc. River boat trip. Return Hanoi (B,L).

After breakfast, we will say goodbye to the warm-hearted villagers and we take our short walk of 4 kilometers to the main road where we will get picked up again by our car and transferred to Tam Coc, Vietnam’s Inland Halong bay.

Upon our arrival in Tam Coc, we will have lunch in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will take a boat for a couple of hours down a small stream passing rice paddies and on through the three caves of Tam Coc. Off of the boat, we will take our car for our drive back to Hanoi. We will arrive in Hanoi late in the afternoon. End tour.

TOUR DETAIL
Day 1 Hanoi – Mai Chau – Pu Luong Nature Reserve (L,D)
7:00 a.m: you will be met up with The B Tourist  Travel team at your hotel in Hanoi (please advise your hotel name). Depart for Mai Chau. You will travel through Hoa Binh town and arrive in Poom Coong village, Mai Chau at about 10:30. You will take a short walk around Lac and Poom Coong village to visit the ethnic Thai people.
Lunch will be served at local home in Poom Coong village.
After lunch, you will then leave Mai Chau for a short drive south-west along the Ma River (22km). You will be dropped off at Sai village, Pu Luong Nature Reserve where you will begin the four-day trek through different Thai and Muong villages.
You will trek through outstanding mountain scenery and picturesque rice paddies. You may wish to talk with friendly local villagers.
You will spend the night in a local Thai family’s traditional house on stilts in Hang village.
Day 2: Trek Hang village - Eo Ken village – Pa Ban village – Kho Muong village (B,L,D)
After your simple breakfast, provided in the local stilt house. You will start the day at 8:00 am. Today you will be walking for an approximately 5 to 6 hours. The first section is hard with some steep climbs and stream crossings. The second stage is glorious with beautiful views of the valley, rice terraces, rich rain forests.
Picnic lunch will be provided on the way at Eo Ken village.
Around lat afternoon, you will arrive in Kho Muong village. The village  is nestled between steep karst mountains with rice terraces in the afternoon sun.
You will have dinner and spend the second night in a typical Thai stilt house in Kho Muong village.
Day 3: Trek Kho Muong village – Ban Pon village – Ban Nua village – Ban Hin village (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you will trek to Hin village (5 - 6 hours). On this hiking trail you will encounter some steep climbs and more stream crossings. Along the way you will have the opportunity to visit an incredible cave, only recently discovered and now protected by the Forest Rangers.
The trekking will become more and more remote although one is never that far from a villager tending their fields. You will pass by steep limestone mountains and curiosity conjuring caves,
through the dense rain forests all inside the borders of the Pu Luong Nature Reserve and onto Nua village.
You lunch will be served en route.
After lunch, you continue trekking to Hin village of the Thai people.
Have dinner and spend the night in a local house.
Day 4: Trek Ban Hin – Ban Trinh village – Ban Cao village – Pho Doan Market (B,L)
After breakfast, continue 2-hour trek through rice fields, village to get to Pho Doan Market. If this falls into Sunday, you may want to visit the busy Pho Doan market.
You will be picked up again by your vehicle and transferred back to Hanoi.
Arriving back in Hanoi around late afternoon, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi city center. The end of The B Tourist  Travel service.

Following lunch in Mai Chau town you drive to Xa Linh where you start a 2-hour trek to the village of Hang Kia. Your hosts will be this evening the H’mong people. Whilst enjoying their hospitality you learn a little about their way of life.
Tonight’s accommodation will be basic although mattresses, bedding and mosquito nets are provided.

Day 2: Continue trekking Mai Chau (Trek Hang Kia – Van village).

This morning you have a 4-5 hour trek to Van village is home of the White Thai people. The trek takes you through unforgettable scenery and provides you the opportunity to witness the authentic rural life.
Arriving in Van village by mid to late afternoon there will be time to take a short walk around the village before checking into a local village house for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Continue trekking Mai Chau valley (Trek Van village – Xo village).

You spend the morning strolling around the surrounding villages before taking another trek to Van where your lunch will be provided.

After lunch, stroll down to the river (if weather permit) before embarking on a 3hour walk to the village of Xo.
Dinner and overnight in Xo village.
Day 4: Trek Xo village – Poong Coong village. Return Hanoi.

After breakfast, provided in the homestay, you will have a more five-hour trek. You trek from Xo village to Poong Cong village. Lunch will be provided in a local stilt house in Poom Coong, Mai Chau.
After lunch, you will drive back to Hanoi.

 Arrive in Laocai early this morning. Travel to Sapa.
After a short rest, travel to Tram Ton Pass with a short top at the Silver Waterfall. Walk 15 minutes around the Heaven Gate for magnificent scenery of the other side of Hoang Lien Son range.
Start trekking from Tram Ton along a narrow trail sneaking on mountain sides through the thick rain forest of the Hoang Lien Nature Reserve mostly downhill for nearly 3 hours, then getting along the upstream part of the Muong Hoa River for the whole afternoon until reaching a H’mong village. Walk around to explore the village, paying visit to local homes as well as getting intact with villagers.
Arriving to home-stay at about 5.00 pm.
Day 2: Continue trekking Sapa hill tribe villages.
Breakfast at home stay and departure at 08.30 to 09.00 am.
Walk 1 hour along good path to Cat Cat Waterfall. Short rest at this nature wonders and continue up and downhill along the Vang Stream for over 4 hours through part of Hoang Lien National Park covered by thick bamboo and rain forest, passing several isolated hamlets of the Black H’mong.
Arrive to another H'mong village in mid afternoon, walk around to explore the village for 1 hour and then settle down for relax at local home.
Day 3: Continue trekking Sapa ethnic villages.
Start trekking from home stay along a large path for an hour to another H’mong village, passing several hamlets along the way with traces of the past sifting way of life. Enjoy spectacular scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley.
The trail becomes narrow and tough uphill through bamboo and then later thick rain the Hoang Lien National Park. Nearly 5 hours trek in the reach nature and some times the trail gets out of the forest to offer stunning panorama of the long and large valley below.
Arriving in a H'mong village, remotely located in a charming valley at the height 1567 m above sea level in late afternoon, free time to relax by the stream near the newly built hydraulic power station.
Day 4: Continue trekking Sapa hilltribe villages.

Easy walk for 20 minutes and then trekking 2 hours along a tougher trail winding downhill through thick rain forest to a ethnic village. Explore this village and then lunch break.
Leaving this isolated hamlet, the trail continuing along a narrow stream up and downhill through the wildest land of Sapa for about 4 hours to a Red Zao village.
Arriving at the homestay at about 5.00 pm. Explore the village, getting in touch to locals. This is a special occasion to both visitors and locals.
Day 5: Continue trekking Sapa hilltribe villages.
Challenging along a narrow dirt trail sneaking on steep hill sides through narrow & sharp canyon from the height of 950 m up to nearly 1,500m for the whole morning.
Lunch break at the top of the mountain in the forest.
Then following the same trail downhill for 1,5 hour through the forest to another Red Zao village. Walk around to explore this quiet and charming village. Then following larger dirt path 1 hour downhill to a village, inhabited by the Xa Pho peoples. Paying visiting to local homes here for interesting discovery of the unique way of living. The Xa Pho is a sub group of the Phu La ethnic whose population is just about 4,000 in Vietnam and still live a primary way.
Arrive in a local home.
Day 6: Continue trekking Sapa hilltribe villages.
Trekking along a large & good path uphill to a Red Zao village and then continue along a dirt path for 1,5 hour to another village where both the Red Dzao and the H'mong live together. This portion of the trek offers stunning view as well as chances to understand life of tribal peoples in remote land.
Continue trekking through wild land dotting with terraced fields, bamboo forest…Lunch break.
Continue for 2, 5 hours in the afternoon along the same trail passing through the land of the Red Zao. Check in home-stay, having a short rest and enjoy an easy walk to explore this charming and quiet village.
Day 7: Continue trekking. Travel to Lao Cai. Overnight train back to Hanoi.
Trek along a narrow dirt trail for ½ hour to the bottom of the valley and gradually uphill for nearly 2 hours to 2 villages of the Red Zao. Enjoying several visiting to local homes for learning more fact about the life and way of living of the Red Zao.
Lunch will be provided en route.
Following a large and rocky road for ½ hour to the top of the mountain range, then the trek gradually getting downhill to a village inhabited by both the Red Zao and the Tay.
Continue along the same trail downhill for nearly 2 hours to Ta Thang Village which offers wide view of the Red River Valley which runs through the Bao Yen District.
Picked up at Ta Thang for an hour road transfer to Lao Cai. Here you may want to have a short rest before taking the night train to Hanoi.

You will be met up with The B Tourist  Travel team at your hotel in Hanoi and transferred to Hai Phong (early departure). On arrival in Hai Phong, you will take a speed boat and travel to Cat Ba Island.
Arrive in Cat Ba town, enjoy a short walk in Cat Ba town. Visit the local market, the tourist quarter and fishing village. Then have lunch in a local restaurant in town.
After lunch, you will be transferred by motor-taxi to Cat Ba National park from where you will begin a 4-hour challenging hike through Cat Ba National Park and up to one of the mountain summits. The park is located approximately 30 km east of Haiphong, covering about 263 km² and comprising 173 km² land and 90 km² of inshore water. Cat Ba National Park is a special-use forest in Vietnam, the world’s biosphere reserve. Cat Ba National Park of Cat Hai district, Hai Phong.
The 18km hiking trails ends at Viet Hai village.
Check into a local lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Viet Hai village – Cat Ba – Hai Phong – Hanoi.
After breakfast, you will enjoy a short bicycle ride from Viet Hai ecolodge to the boat pier (about 2 km). The biking trail is easy with a few up and downhill rides.
On arrival at Viet Hai boat pier, you will be picked up by our sharing shuttle boat and transferred back to Cat Ba town. The boat trip will take you through floating fishermen villages and islets of different shapes emerging from the emerald water.
Arrive back in Cat Ba island town, you may want to have lunch before taking the speed boat again for travelling back to Hai Phong city where your The B Tourist  vehicle will be waiting for. Enjoy the two-hour drive back to Hanoi.

After breakfast, you will have an easy walk for 20 minutes and then trekking 2 hours along a tougher trail winding downhill through thick rain forest to Den Thang village which isolated itself in a remote valley. Explore this village and then have lunch.
Leaving this isolated hamlet, the trail continuing along a narrow stream up and downhill through the wildest land of Sapa for about 4 hours to Ta a Red Zao village.
Arriving to homestay at about 5.00 pm. You may want to have a short walk around the village before checking into a local house for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Continue trekking Sapa ethnic villages (B,L,D).
Challenging along a narrow dirt trail sneaking on steep hill sides through narrow & sharp canyon from the height of 950 m up to nearly 1,500m for the whole morning.
Lunch break at the top of the mountain in the forest.
Then following the same trail downhill for 1,5 hour through the forest to another village of the Red Zao. Walk around to explore this quiet and charming village. Then following larger dirt path 1 hour downhill to a village of Xa Pho peoples. Paying visiting to local homes here for interesting discovery of the unique way of living. The Xa Pho is a sub group of the Phu La ethnic whose population is just about 4,000 in Vietnam and still live a primary way.
You will have about half hour walk before arriving in a local home in village. Check into a local house for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Continue trekking (B,L,D)
Today, you will trek along a large & good path uphill to a Red Zao village and then continue along a dirt path for 1,5 hour to another village is inhabited by both the Red Zao and Black H’mong. This portion of the trek offers stunning view as well as chances to understand life of tribal peoples in remote land.
Lunch will be provided en route.

After lunch, continue trekking for about two more hours in the afternoon along the same trail passing through the land of Suoi Thau Commune to another village of the Red Zao. Check in home-stay, having a short rest and enjoy an easy walk to explore this charming and quiet village.
Day 7: Continue trekking Sapa hill tribe villages. Transfer to Laocai train station (B,L).
Trek along a narrow dirt trail for a half hour to the bottom of the valley and gradually uphill for nearly 2 hours to some Red Zao villages. Visit local homes for learning more fact about the life and way of living of the Red Zao.
Lunch will be provided en route.
After lunch, you continue hiking, following a large and rocky road for a half hour to the top of the mountain range, then the trek gradually getting downhill to Red Dzao and Tay village.
Continue along the same trail downhill for nearly 2 hours before you will be picked up again by The B Tourist local team and transferred to Lao Cai where you may relax and then take the night train to Hanoi. The end of The B Tourist Travel service.
